Gianne Encarnacion is an artist and illustrator based in Manila, Philippines.
My body of work is ornate, tender and an organized chaos.
I am inspired by my influences growing up: science, spirituality, Asian culture, fashion, and 2000’s technology.
Through my work, I hope to give form to the difficult-to-articulate abstract; this leading to a deeper connection to the self, to others, and to the world.
My art practice revolves around transforming my illustrations into tangible, multipurpose forms. I mainly work with paper, acrylic and textiles.
